Mid-Coast Fishing Picking Up

It started off slow the last couple days, but from 10:30 on the bite was aggressive! Conservative guess was 30-40 keeper trout and reds were caught. We caught nice solid 18-22″ trout, and released a couple 4 poundrers on Down South Lures Kickin' Chicken, Magic Grass, Strawberry Wine, and good ‘ol Corkys got the job done.

We concentrated our wades in knee to thigh deep water. A few fish for dinner were kept, all the rest we released. Post cold front fishing at it’s finest. With a warming trend projected for the next 10 days, and no major cold weather in sight, I expect the bite to continue to get aggressive and consistently last most of the day. Call today to book your date and shake off the cabin fever!
