Amazing Summer Sight-Casting in Seadrift
Definitely a top 3 in days of sight casting reds. We never had to set up the tower, because the large school of 100 fish stayed on the surface all day.
Throwing gold, black, and copper spoons, we had several triple hook ups and countless doubles. So much fun watching reds tail and float on the surface. The weather was great, plenty of sun and 5 - 15 mph ENE winds makes the water clear - good enough to see the orange ball moving around!

Grinding Out Limits in Seadrift, TX
Slow and steady won the race today in these post spawn conditions. The boys grinded through 100s of small male trout to find their keeper fish.
It was kind of a good teaching tool for the newcomers to lure fishing. They learned quick and understood how the trout wanted it presented.
We fished a wide range of depths over sand/grass, as well as some oyster shell . Our best baits today were DSL’s Strawberry Wine, Kickin’ Chicken, and Victorious Secret.

Good Fishing in Seadrift, TX
Great day one with this North Texas family. Took us a bit to find a consistant bite, and when we did it was all smiles. Crotch to waist deep grass beds with rafts of bait, throwing DSL’s Victorious Secret and Strawberry Wine did the trick.
The North wind was giving us trouble on day two, not many bites on the trout. But, did manage to have a customer land his PB on a DSL strawberry wine, Fins Braid 20# windtamer, and a 7’6” Waterloo salinity. The trout was 25”@4.25#, she w

Slicks, Shell & Shorelines All Producing Specks in Seadrift
Fun last couple of days. We tried many different areas from shell to shorelines. Each spot produced a good handful of fish, but by mid-day the bite fell off. This is to be expected this time of the year, with winds that die and the water temps rising.
Today when it went slick we found 4 small pods of reds to keep us busy. It is always fun chasing these golden fish down the bank.
Best bait over the last 2 days has been Victorious Secret super model, and also managed a few

Great Day of Wadefishing
The plan came together today. Our first wade over thigh to waist deep sand pockets produced good numbers of trout. The water was chalky green and the baits that worked best were White Ice, Dirty Tequila, and Pumpkinseed. Lunch time we decided to walk knee deep flats looking for cruising reds, and after an hour or so of walking, 3 pods of 10-15 reds showed up in front of us. Gold spoons and Pumpkinseed is what we threw, but I don’t believe it really mattered! Lol Give me a ca

Grinding Out Good Stringers in Seadrift
These boys stuck it out today, from a nasty west wind boat ride, to slick calm, back to a stiff west wind. They managed to put a mix of nice trout, reds, and even a flounder in the box. First timer with the Texas Slam!
Best baits of the day are pictured below.
I know later in the week with the return of the SE winds, our fishing will improve. We have plenty of weekday opening left for June, and weekend/weekday dates available for July-September.
Give us a shout, and le
