Redfish Bite Hot Along Coastal Bend
According to long-time Aransas Pass guide Capt. Marvin Engel, the redfish bite has been hot and getting hotter along the Texas Coastal Bend. Engel reports outstanding redfish trips with clients over the past few weeks and says the fishing is only getting better as the weather and water continues to warm. With continuing warming forecast over the next week, fishermen up and down the Texas coast can expect good fishing, despite the relentless spring winds.

Big Trout Still Biting
We found a few this morning, where we left them yesterday afternoon. The bite started off good with a handful of fat fish, but then tappered off. Mid-day was a toughbite with a few reds and keeper size trout caught. The last wade of the evening showed some us some good fish. Good way to end the day, back at it tomorrow! #saltwaterfishing #texastroutfishing #texasfishing #texassaltwaterfishing
