Great Pre-Front Bite in Seadrift
Another great pre-front bite. Knee deep grass beds with rafts of bait is where we found our fish hanging yesterday and today. Lost a couple good fish, then finally connected with a stud! Heck even the not so big ones were hungry! Lol. DSL soft plastics and Corkys got the job done.
Hope everybody had a fun and safe Thanksgiving.

South Texas Snook Bite Strong
Prior to last week's front, the South Texas snook bite was going strong. Port Isabel guide Capt. Gencho Buitureira guided Cindy Chandler of Rosenberg to a nice ship channel snook (above left), while Port Mansfield guide Capt. Steve "JR" Ellis put his client, Law Rogers, on this massive snook at the Port Mansfield jetties. These were just a couple of the oversized snook anglers have landed recently. As winter sets, the South Texas snook bite will be heating up in the deep wate

Cold front triggers bite on Mid-Coast
It got a little cold today, but the fish didn't seem to mind. These boys hung in there all day and were rewarded with a nice stringer of trout and reds. Despite the dropping water temps, the fish were still holding in the same places they have been for months.
The key today was finding the right water color with bait. Top lures today were DSL Texas Roach, Chicken of the C, and Corky Softdines. The best bites were in thigh deepwater over grass and shell. Winter Discount: Dec

Fall is THE time to fish the Texas Coast
Love fishing this time of year, water temps are down, boat traffic is gone, and the fish are aggressive! Found lots of solid trout on each stop today, and Bobby Sullivan even let a big one get away from him! Lol A school of redfish found us, as we were working down the shoreline, managed to snag a few out of the pod. Topwaters, Pumpkinseed, and Strawberry Wine worked their magic today from knee deep to crotch deep water.
Don't forget about our winter discount from Dec. 1-Fe
